To that end, the 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS is the continuation of that ideal of unique sports cars and roadsters. With much happening under the hood and even in the interior, drivers have something that makes this sports car a great choice when considering new luxury vehicles in the coming year. What’s Under The Hood? – 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS

If you’re driving a Porsche sports car, there’s that sense of luxury you want, but if it’s a sports car, power and performance is what’s expected. As a result, the 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS has the engine specs that can provide what you’re looking for.

Similar to the 718 Cayman GT4 RS coupe, The 2024 718 Spyder RS features a four-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, providing up to 493 HP and 331 lb-ft of power, while the revs can reach up to 9,000 RPM. When this is combined with the seven-speed PDK transmission, you’ll be able to reach 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds.

With this, alongside the numerous other amenities, including seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung transmission (PDK) and gearshift paddle, driving this sports car is an effortless and fun experience.

The Porsche 718 Spyder RS Interior and Exterior

So the 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS has the performance and power you’re looking for when having a weekend getaway with your significant other or just running errands around town. Since you’ll be driving a lot in this sports car, you probably want to know what the interior is like.

Rest assured, Porsche has followed through on delivering an interior that’s geared towards what makes a sports car perform: functionality and style. The Race-Tex covered GT Sport steering wheel includes a yellow 12-o’-clock design, while the Full Bucket seats are made of lightweight carbon fiber-reinforced plastic, or CFRP, with a carbon-weave finish. This provides more lateral support to both the driver and passenger. With the seats being made of black leather, you’re truly in a luxurious and supportive interior.

At the same time, your dashboard and trims are covered with leather, while the exterior of your 718 Spyder RS has the option of four standard and three metallic paints to select from. This includes Porsche’s newest color addition, Vanadium Grey Metallic, alongside the special colors, Arctic Grey, Shark Blue, and Ruby Star Neo. The result being a stylish and unique combination of exterior look and interior comforts.
