2023 Genesis GV80 driving on road

This year’s 2023 New York Auto Show revealed Hyundai’s Genesis GV80 Coupe– a luxury SUV coupe that’s been talked about but has finally been revealed by the automaker. Hyundai also revealed that production on the Genesis GV80 Coupe will begin soon, and it’s expected to release in the 2025 model year. Pricing isn’t finalized, but pricing is expected to start between $65,000-$70,000 MSRP. And our financing centers are ready to provide you with competitive prices for your next luxury SUV.

What is the Genesis GV80 Coupe?

The Genesis GV80 Coupe is a form of SUV often referred to as an “SUV coupe” by automakers. It features a slicker design to make it stand out and echo the kind of design that Yonkers drivers would expect from a sedan while functioning more as an SUV. It’s also inspired by the X Speedium Coupe shown at last year’s New York Auto Show, but the Genesis GV80 Coupe will be coming to New Rochelle streets within the next few years as a finalized concept. While details are still somewhat fuzzy on its total specs, we expect more to be released over the following months as Hyundai continues to shed more light on this luxury option.

What Makes the Genesis GV80 Coupe Standout?

This new luxury Genesis SUV is expected to come with a generous amount of features, and the concept’s upholstery featured faux suede with orange accents and orange seat belts. While it won’t feature six-person seating like the traditional GV80, it’s fully expected to feature a very generous interior space with the latest creature comforts as a luxury “SUV coupe” model. The concept also featured a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen that will most likely echo the touchscreen found on the traditional GV80.

The Genesis GV80 Coupe will also offer generous warranties, with a limited warranty that covers five years or 60,000 miles, a powertrain warranty for five years or 60,000 miles, and complimentary maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles.

How Does the Genesis GV80 Coupe Perform?

Information on the Genesis GV80 Coupe’s performance specs are still unknown, but drivers could expect the turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 found in the GV80, or there may even be a more powerful engine option pulled from the G90 sedan. That means drivers could be looking at 375 to 409 horsepower. We at Pepe Auto Group certainly expect this luxury vehicle option to have an all-wheel drive option.
